BioDefense Corporation, based in Lexington, MA, has developed what is now the most advanced, safe and affordable solution for protecting people and businesses from the threat and devastation from mail carrying biohazards. MailDefender® has been proven to effectively decontaminate deadly and harmful bio-contaminants and certain chemicals, including anthrax, smallpox, plague, e-Coli, influenza, HIV and botulism. Other biohazards, including ricin, are present targets for this same technology awaiting authorized test verification.
"When used at the point where mail enters a building, or used to respond to a bio-hazard threat, our technology will effectively help government, businesses and individuals defend themselves against dangerous bio-contaminants." Michael Lu said.
