Paul Polakowski - Advisor

Paul Polakowski is currently the CFO of Terasol Energy, LLC a developer of next-generation feedstocks for the specialty chemicals, transportation and power generation industries. He has over 10 years of experience in finance, corporate development, M&A and strategy with businesses at every stage of development. Prior to Terasol, Paul was an independent private equity investor and corporate finance/strategy advisor. Before becoming an independent investor, Mr. Polakowski was an investment associate at DB Capital Partners (the private equity affiliate of Deutsche Bank), where he focused on growth financings, leveraged buy-outs and recapitalizations of companies in the communications and media industries. Prior to DB Capital, Mr. Polakowski worked in the investment banking division of Lehman Brothers Inc. where he was an analyst in the Global Media & Communications Group. At Lehman, Mr. Polakowski participated in sell-side, buy-side and restructuring advisory engagements, debt financings and public and private equity financings for media, entertainment and communications companies.

Mr. Polakowski graduated from Connecticut College with an A.B. cum laude in government and economics and holds a postbaccalaurate certificate from Columbia University.
